Wireless operators with E3/T3 or STM-1/OC-3 solutions can connect to RAD products to extend services to a large number of subscribers, to improve the wireless bandwidth utilization.

RAD's Optimux-XLE1/T1 optical multiplexer delivers up to 16 E/T1 lines over a single link, or a combination of TDM and Ethernet LAN supporting requirements for a broad range of applications. RAD's Optimux-T3 unique optical multiplexer transmits 21 E1, 28 T1 or a combination of E1 and T1 lines over a single T3 link (supported by G.747). It has internal cross-connect capabilities that enable the support of a wide range of applications that require drop-and-insert capabilities such as in the case of daisy-chain topology.

A wide variety of interfaces enables the products to transparently transport multiple services, such as IP, Frame Relay and TDMoIP, over the E1/T1 (i.e., TDM) transport network.
