Motivation
IPv4 is a primary technology that has supported the Internet for more than twenty years but issue problem arise:

Not enough addresses -

The growing of the stations in the Internet network, and the giving a large range of addresses to organizations pass in the years make this problem.

Increase in routing information -

Each router in the net keep a growing information table and the
Searching for data in the table spend time.

Segmentation and header processing is a router issue -

The Routers manage Segmentation and header processing . it's take
extra time

New service requests for new file types.

Same modified were made:

CIDR-
CIDR works effectively and has been successful to a degree in conserving
assignments and aggregating routing information
But we will still run out of addresses
NAT-
NAT and private addresses help to conserve addresses
But Many IP applications don't work with NAT

Segmentation and header processing issues remain.
Compatibility and availability for different file types is not optimal because
it is added later.

The final solution:

New IP protocol - IPv6
