Protocol Stacks

When using an ADSL connection to the ISP, the main goal is to build an IP over ADSL stack.
There are different protocol stacks that aim to meet the goal above and they all share the same layer above ADSL – ATM.
ATM provides high rate data transfer and a satisfactory solution to audio/video and data transmission that meets ADSL's requirements.
