Rip applet:

The next applet demonstrates how the rip protocol works on a network of hosts (routers) which are connected by serial lines. The protocol works just about the same if the connecting media is a broadcast media like Ethernet.

For the simplicity of the demonstration the routers advertise their names instead of the networks connected to them. (In reality the routers initially advertise the subnets which are connected to them directly. Another difference is that in reality serial lines are treated as subnets and also have network adresses).

Instructions of using the applet are in the applet help.

If you experience problems it's probably due to old version of your browser (does not support jar archieves) try this one...
